Quality at Specdrum does not not begin when the Drums are being inspected by our Quality Team.
Everything we do in our Production department is geared towards.
“Right from the beginning of manufacture – we concentrate on building quality into our final product ” Paul Teggart – Quality Manager
- Every Operative on the production Floor has a Computer Work Station
- Each Production Operative, no matter what their function in production must access the Technical Drawing to view what is required from them
- They must record what the action they have taken and sign off on it before the Drum moves to the next stage of manufacture.
- Everyone is Accountable on our Factory Floor.
“Our Quality Team will be seen, every day, in consultation with our Welders, Steel Cutters, CNC Machinists, Lathe Operators, Rubber Vulcanising and Painters.
When the final Drum reaches the Quality Department, a final Drum Check is completed by our Quality Department using checked and calibrated Quality Measuring Instruments
To ensure the Technical Drawing specifications and tolerances have been achieved.
Very often our Drums are going straight to our customers Production Floor and the Drums are immediately being built into Belt Conveyors.
We understand the importance of getting it right, first time.” Paul Teggart – Quality Manager
